And one person mentioned a lot of fun outdoor activities in Anchorage like Kincaid park which has a beach you can walk to through the park which is huge with multiple trails. I’ve gotten lost several times there. You’d want to ask someone how you can find the beach before venturing off. A map would be a good idea. Cell service doesn’t always work there. Juneau is a seaport, tightly situated next to mountains. A commercial jet landing can be exhilarating when the wind comes from the ocean side (which is most of the time). Located in the Gastineau Channel and the Alaskan panhandle, it is a unified municipality and the second-largest city in the United States of America by area. It’s population is about 32,227.
