Respect for others is one of my basic principles.) 1. It’s way too much trouble. Good God, why would I want to handle the complication and deception and manipulation required for cheating on someone? Also why would I get myself into a situation, purposefully, which would inevitably end in some really emotional drama? No thanks. I don’t care how great the sex is, it’s not worth that. Ugh.
2. I value honesty too much. I hate lying. I’m not good at it. I hate being deceptive. I hate being deceived. I hate being flattered. I respect and desire honesty, with everyone. I don’t expect honesty from everyone (that would be nice, but it’s not going to happen) but I do choose to be close only to people who are willing to be honest with me. Cheating, by its nature, is a choice that requires dishonesty (almost always). 3. I value loyalty too much.
