Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Philadelphia Eagles Merry Kissmyass Ornament

Anchorage has all of the Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Philadelphia Eagles Merry Kissmyass Ornament Furthermore, I will do this amenities of a larger city, just on a smaller scale. Great bars and restaurants, healthy performing arts, plenty of shopping. I don’t know that I would want to live in a city bigger than Anchorage, it was the perfect size for me. Small enough that you occasionally run across people you know when out and about, but large enough that you weren’t the talk of the town after a crazy Saturday night! I left only because the Alaska winters got to me after 11 years. And all my family was in the lower 48 and my parents are aging, so I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss too much time with them. As someone who has lived in Alaska my whole life, I can tell you there are pros and cons to each. While Fairbanks can indeed have cold snaps they usually don’t last very long and are not really as bad as people make them out to be. Anchorage has its fair share of nasty weather, high winds, rainy and not nearly as warm in summer as Fairbanks is. The Darkness of deep winter tends to bring out the worst in people more then anything. Both cities have this but because Anchorage is 355 miles south it has more daylight on December 21st then Fairbanks. With a big city comes big city problems and Anchorage has its fair share. Many people who move to Alaska stop in this city, going no further and so it has more of “down there” than “here”. Might as well have stayed there. Fairbanks still holds onto its frontier beginnings which makes adventure more a priority then not. Bear in mind that any city can be like anywhere USA unless you are motivated to be more then a worker bee. Explore. Get out and see this vast land and you will be the better for it.

I arrived in Fairbanks in the Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Philadelphia Eagles Merry Kissmyass Ornament Furthermore, I will do this fall of ‘88. Just in time for the “winter of ‘89” when the official low at the airport was -68. I think the lowest since then was around -54. Fucking unpleasant if you aren’t prepared for it (or have to go out and deal with it – Recommendation: Don’t spill -40 diesel on your hands trying to get a furnace started). The highest temp I’ve seen here was 96. And I’m not sure I’m not hallucinating that. I will testify to 91 though. I was (stupidly) swinging a pick in a ditch that day back around ‘90. My behavior since about ’00 has been very “bad”. I always have heavy winter gear with me, but plan my trips and keep my truck warm and dress like a fucking Hawaiian. Not really – but if I got into a really bad scrape on the road, I’d be in trouble. About 5 years ago we got some bad freezing rain (never saw it my first 20 years here) and I DID go over a steep edge and land in the trees half overturned. Was kind of a bitch crawling out the passenger side and hauling the dog out with me – and then a very slippery “walk” for the last mile to home. So that was about 20 degrees I’d guess and when you are struggling just to stand up – temperature really isn’t the problem. (In a totally different scenario, I’ve spit ice off my beard while totally comfortable with my knees in ice cold water and wearing a T-shirt. Depends on what you are doing.)
