I then immediately intervened and told them the realities of imprisonment. But then as I advised them, I also realised I had matured and even spoke to them about their career choices over breakfast. Just then , I just knew my life would be turned around , no more mistakes and no more jail. As soon as we arrived in Chennai, I looked for accommodation . It was really small, it was just a studio flat with a shared toilet with 4 other girls (nothing new for me- jail was worse). In 2 weeks, I would find a job at an advertising company because I was so brutally honest about my past.
Do not give up. I know it may be hard to find a job because of your past but do not give up someone will hire you.
