Top Jason Aldean Singer Try That In A Small Town Shirt
Even though I am strongly in favor of all kinds of LGBTQ rights, I don’t think forcing staff to wear pride color shirts is a great idea. First, I’m not at all sure it doesn’t violate the Jason Aldean Singer Try That In A Small Town Shirt also I will do this rights of the staff. I dunno. They can make staff wear a uniform, I’m not sure this qualifies. Could they require all staff to wear “Kamala Harris for POTUS” buttons? Second, it won’t change anyone’s mind. I mean, it might make a homophobe avoid Starbucks (or not) and it might make a pro gay rights person go to Starbucks, but I don’t see someone changing their mind on gay rights because someone is wearing a pride shirt, certainly not if they are required to wear one. Personally, I mostly avoid Starbucks as I don’t like their coffee very much. (But the very berry hibiscus is good).
Of course. I honestly cannot imagine why people have so much confusion about this. Not every Scotsman walks around in a kilt, either. Pride gear and parades is merely one way of enjoying one’s identity. There are 0 cultures where it is mandatory to be performatively proud all the Jason Aldean Singer Try That In A Small Town Shirt also I will do this time. Most definitely. The pride flag is only a symbol of acknowledging, accepting, and caring about the issues faced by the LBGTQ+ community. It’s not some secret code that means, “Hey everybody, I’m gay!” I’m sure some people will jump to conclusions if you do display the pride flag in your home. Let them jump. Your support is what is on display, not your sexual preferences or gender identity. Not at all. Straight people are welcome if they’re not there to cause trouble. One of the entries in the parades that always brings a mix of tears and applause is PFLAG or Parents and Firends of Lesbians And Gays. Straight allies are always appreciated. If you can treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself, you will find yourself with a whole lot of friends. Lesbians are just as valid as gay men, trans people, queer people, bisexual people etc. Why should men always come first? GLBT is also used, but LGBT+ is the more commonly accepted way of saying it. Besides, it flows off the tongue nicely in that order. Homosexuals were almost exclusively referring to men and women were rarely even discussed, so when lesbians and feminism rose up the ranks, it’s great that lesbians were more openly accepted and recognised as part of the wider gay community rather than the focus being primarily on people with a penis.
