There was a consistent faint “moan-ish” growl all the while. For every effort that I made to hold him, he bailed away a bit, and when I retracted, he came in for a cuddle. The typical puppy play.
He stopped only when my face was TOTALLY wet with his saliva, and I managed to scoop him and place him against my chest. He demanded that I kiss him.
